What have I done, that I ask from others what they have done
Selflessly when I can’t do, then why ask others to be selfless too
Anger and desire when I haven’t discarded, how can I ask others to
Self-respect if I want, then respect others too I have to do
Expect others to do, I do, then their expectation fulfill why I can’t do
Consider myself above the rest, why can’t I be just like you
But double standards we have of what we and others do
That in your love and still away, we continue to do
Introspect and admit to ourselves that this is the way to do
Honest if we are to ourselves, then honesty we can preach too.
