Given you have joy and peace, expect not the same from us
For along with that, sorrow and misery also, you’ll get from us
Just coz you remain silent to the doings of us
Expect not that your silence is acceptable silently to us
Given you have brains to use for the betterment of us
Yet expect not that put them aside we shall not, that is us
Unexpectedly you teach us not to expect, to all of us
But expect not that all your expectations shall be fulfilled by us
Just coz you love us so, expect not reciprocation from us
For your love is ours, even though you are still away from us.
