પ્રાણને કંઈ મળતું નથી, ખોરાક જ્યાં ખાલી દ્વેષ છે;
જીવનમાં શરણું કંઈ મળતું નથી, જ્યાં ખાલી જીવન એક સોચ છે;
હર આત્મામાં વસે છે પરમાત્મા, પણ એમાં જ્યાં સંકોચ છે,
તો હર આત્મામાં છે છુપાયેલાં રાઝ, પ્રભુ તો બહુ હજી દૂર છે.
English Translation:The life force does not get anything when the food is just hatred.
Life does not get any protection when life just remains a thought.
In every soul resides the divine, but when there is diffidence,
Then it remains hidden in the soul, God is still far away.
